Tiffany Bozic this weekend at Fecal Face Gallery in SF...

So wish we could make it up to SF this weekend for the opening of Symmetrical Balance - new works from Tiffany Bozic - opening: Sat, Oct 25, 2008 (6-9pm) at Fecal Face Dot Gallery.

Bozic is widely recognized for her tightly rendered, emotionally charged nature-scapes. Blending traditional painting technique with unlikely combinations of, and interactions between animals and their environment, Bozic's paintings lead the viewer into a surreal, metaphorical and often harsh world. Using a complex process of masking and staining maple surfaces, Bozic conveys a luminous and pristine representation of her vision of life's struggles and triumphs.

Bozic's work is informed by both interactions with living organisms she has encountered during extensive world travels and her continued research of the specimens collections at the California Academy of Sciences.

We own two of her works and they are just stunning in person, highly suggest checking her work out if you are able.

But alas we've some amazing shows this weekend here in LA including greats shows from Andy Kehoe and his brother Ben, Lola, a great benefit at New Image and the Halloween edition of Cannibal Flower at a brand new venue... so no one living in LA should be complaining too much this weekend. Hope to see some of you out at the shows...
