(focusing on the pop surrealism/low brow/urban contemporary worlds):
We’re excited to be headed down to Miami this December to take part in the Gen Art Vanguard Fair. With all that will be going on during Art Basel week, we put together a lil’ “must see” list for ourselves and I thought I would share with those of you who might be headed down. There are literally hundreds and hundreds of galleries showing in Miami during this all-important week/weekend and below is a brief breakdown, by Fair, of the galleries that will be showing at each that come from the New Contemporary side of things (Low Brow, Pop Surrealism, Urban Contemporary, Graffiti, Street Art, etc) that regularly get attention from our lil’ bubble within the art world at large.
By no means is this a full list, you can check each Fair’s site for that. This isn’t even close, there is SO much going on during the week of Art Basel in Miami, no one person could really hit it all up. We’re just providing a focused list to help you try and traverse all these amazing Fairs in the time given, with an eye towards the pop surrealism, low brow and urban contemporary worlds.
If you make it down to Miami, please swing by our booth at Vanguard.
