Kelsey Brookes
will be opening up his first solo show in the States this Saturday night at New Image Art. "Over 20 new paintings, new sculptures, and a surprise installation, which in most reasonable countries would get me arrested" states Brookes.
So can't wait for this show. We're huge fans of Kelsey's work and having worked with him a couple times in the past on some group shows, can't say how proud we are of how far he's come.
Kelsey Brookes
This Sat, November 1st 7-10PM
New Image Art
7908 Santa Monica Blvd (near Fairfax)

About Sour Harvest
Andrew Hosner (founder / editor)
Sour Harvest was launched in the winter of 2004 as a means to better showcase the emerging Los Angeles new contemporary art scene. We relaunched the site in a blog based format during the winter of 2007/2008 to allow for easier and more frequent updates. Features include our widely popular suggested show listings for the Los Angeles area (that are posted here and also sent out via e-mail on a weekly basis - sign up below), as well as regular show reviews, previews, interviews with our artists, and general updates on all the happenings at Thinkspace Gallery and our scene as a whole.

About Thinkspace Gallery:
Established in November of 2005,
Thinkspace
exists as a catalyst for the ever expanding new contemporary art movement that is exploding forth from the streets and art schools the world over. We are here to help represent this new generation of artists, to provide them that home base and to aid them in building the right awareness and collector base necessary for long-term growth.
