First quarter of 2009 show preview...

David MacDowell
Debut Los Angeles solo show this March @ thinkspace

Below is a lil' preview of the goodness that lay ahead in the 1st quarter of 2009 for us lucky art lovers in the Los Angeles area.

Please know this is by no means a complete listing of all the art happenings in the LA area, nor do we try to attempt to be that, as there are many great sources for overall listings like Art Slant and others. We strive to direct you towards exhibits that we plan to check out ourselves. Most shows we suggest fall within the realm commonly referred to as new contemporary, lowbrow, pop surrealism, outsider, urban contemporary, graffiti, etc.

Many more shows to be announced soon and our regular weekly show update posts and e-mail updates will resume come 1st week of January. The big show at Blum & Poe this Saturday is sort of a year end wrap up of sorts, hope to see many of you out. Happy Holidays everyone!
