"Karpinski’s installations and paintings emit a spirit of gentleness untouched by many of his contemporaries. 'The Place I Call Home' delivers work that makes you want to fall in love or lounge underneath a weeping willow." - Art Ltd.
The folks over at Artillery have also covered our November exhibition, this time focusing on the main gallery's exhibit, The Drawing Room - curated by Audrey Kawasaki. The review of the show will be in the new issue hitting galleries and museums this week. There is also a very interesting feature / mini-interview (though I'm misquoted once or twice) with Audrey that is an online exclusive with Artillery - check it out here."Those who've seen one of her creations in person know that any tree would be happy to give its life for Audrey's cause; it seems as though it grew the way it did - a knot here, a line there - to compliment her own lines and knots of hair." - Artillery
On top of all that, Juxtapoz ran some great shots from the opening reception, including a priceless shot of Karpinski passed out at evening's end in the lil' chair from his installation.
